Wicked Witch Mixed Media Project with Roberta Laliberte

Hello everyone, Roberta here and with Halloween just around the corner I just had to create a wonderfully witchy creation. You could easily make this to hang on a wall or a door but I made my witch to perch on the edge of a table. This wonderfully wicked witch is made out of scrap cardboard. Here’s how:

I just love taking beautiful magazines and piecing together bits and bobs to create a story. Some of my favourite magazines are the Stampington mags. The Somerset Life and Artful Blogging often have beautiful photos of flowers and vintage goodies, beautiful objects that can be reborn into beautiful art.

Fun Image Transfer with Roberta Laliberte

Hello everyone! Roberta here with my next project. I decided to use a print of one of my paintings to create a rustic little sign for you. I really wanted to try the freezer paper method for image transfers. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be lol.

Yes, he really was happy, no joke. If you would like to see the source photo I used for inspiration you can find it on Pinterest right HERE.   I also chose a colour palette from my COLOR PALETTE BOARD  on Pinterest.  Another great place to find awesome reference photos is on PEXELS.  It's a great resource for free stock photography which is something you have to watch out for if you were to ever sell your work. The copyright owner may have issue with you using their photos.
