Join us for our first annual Holiday Creative Challenge!

OOAK Artisan Showcase has been expanded and you are invited to participate!

OOAK Artisan Showcase is sponsoring a SPECIAL holiday creative challenge and we have just expanded it to include - jewelry designers, greeting card makers, photographers and visual artists (mixed media, ceramic artists, painters and the like).

This year's challenge is based on our theme, “It’s a Wonderful Life”, the classic holiday movie. 

ALL submissions will be placed on display in a SPECIAL holiday exhibit in our gallery. The exhibit will open on Friday, November 20^th at 6:30 pm with a public reception and will run through December 31, 2015.

You may elect to place items up for sale through our gallery; a commission fee of 25% will be charged on all sales* made by OOAK Artisan Showcase, half of this fee will be donated in the artist’s name to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.  * For greeting cards, only $. 25 will be added to your asking price, and the entire fee will be donated.

Deadline for receipt of your challenge submission is November 13, 2015. All submissions should be mailed to Shelley Graham Turner, OOAK Artisan Showcase – PO Box 583, Rome NY 13442

1. Participants are responsible for shipping cost, to and from OOAK Artisan Showcase. Please send the appropriate return postage via Paypal to ooakartisanshowcase@gmail.com. (Should your items sell, unused postage will be refunded via Paypal.) Please pack your items well to prevent damage. Postal insurance is always a good idea.
2. Submit the following information with your entry: Your name, Name of your piece (optional), category. Mark NFS if you do NOT wish to place your item(s) for sale.
3. All net proceeds will be sent to the artist via Paypal unless other arrangements are made with the gallery.
4. Please send your package with a tracking number, e-mail the tracking  number to challenge@ooakartisanshowcase.com .                                                                                                                              
5. IMPORTANT: In order to plan our display needs, please send the following information  by November 9th via email to  challenge@ooakartisanshowcase.com      

• Your name
•  Name of your piece (optional)
•  Category
•  Sale price (when setting the price be sure to take into account the fees as stated above). 
•  Approximate measurements
